The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
