Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Gross rivalry diverts you, 1 until you reach your graves. 2 No indeed; but soon you shall know. 3 Indeed you will come to know soon. 4 Indeed, were you to know the truth with certainty, 5 You will be shown hell 6 Again, ye shall see it with certainty of sight! 7 Then on that Day you shall be questioned about your worldly favours. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
