Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have placed constellations in heaven and have beautified it for beholders, 16 And We have protected it from every devil expelled [from the mercy of Allah] 17 Except him (devil) that gains hearing by stealing, he is pursued by a clear flaming fire. 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 And We have made for you therein means of living and [for] those for whom you are not providers. 20 Naught is there, but its treasuries are with Us, and We send it not down but in a known measure. 21 We send rain-impregnated winds, and water from the sky which you drink, but you are not the keepers of its store. 22 And surely, it is We who give life and make to die. We are the Inheritor. 23 And assuredly We know those of you who have gone before and those who will come hereafter. 24 and it is your Lord who will gather them. He is Wise, Knowing. 25
