Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
So by oath of the things you see. 38 as well as all that you cannot see: 39 Most surely, it is the Word brought by an honored Apostle, 40 And not the word of a poet. How little is it that you believe! 41 nor is it the speech of a soothsayer little do you remember. 42 [it is] a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds. 43 And if he had fabricated against Us some of the sayings, 44 We assuredly had taken him by the right hand 45 And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart: 46 And not one of you would have withheld us from punishing him. 47 Surely it is a Reminder to the godfearing; 48 And most surely We know that some of you are rejecters. 49 yet, behold, this [rejection] will indeed become a source of bitter regret for all who deny the truth [of God's revelation] 50 yet it is a certain truth. 51 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty. 52

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
