The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the morning hours 1 and by the night when it covers the world with peace: 2 Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 And verily, your Lord will give you (all i.e. good) so that you shall be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you as an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 Did He not find thee needy, and suffice thee? 8 So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. 9 And repulse not the beggar; 10 But tell of the favors of your Lord! 11
