Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Hast thou seen him who cries lies to the Doom? 1 Who turns away the orphan, 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 So woe unto those performers of Salat (prayers) (hypocrites), 4 But who are oblivious of their moral duties, 5 those who do good (in order) to be seen, 6 And withhold [simple] assistance. 7
