The day We shall summon all men with their leaders, whosoever is given his record in his right hand will be able to read his account, and none will be wronged the breadth of a thread. 71 But those who were blind in this world, will be blind in the hereafter, and most astray from the Path. 72 And they indeed strove hard to beguile thee (Muhammad) away from that wherewith We have inspired thee, that thou shouldst invent other than it against Us; and then would they have accepted thee as a friend. 73 If We had not made you stand firm, you would almost have inclined towards them a little. 74 And if it were*, We would then have made you taste a double life and a double death – you would then not find any supporter against Us. (* Which is impossible.) 75 They very nearly provoked you to drive you out of the land, but they would have only lingered for a little while after you. 76 This was Our dispensation with those whom We sent before thee of Our apostles, and thou wilt not find in this Our dispensation a change. 77
