The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Woe to the stinters; 1 Those who, when they have to receive by measure from men, exact full measure, 2 But when they have to give by measure or weight to men, give less than due. 3 Do they not realise that they will be raised to life 4 on a great day 5 The day when everyone will stand before the Lord Of The Creation. 6 By no means! Verily the record of the ungodly is in Sijjin. 7 And what could make thee conceive what that that mode inescapable will be? 8 It is a Book inscribed. 9 Woe, on that day, to those who have rejected God's revelations 10 who cry lies to the Day of Doom; 11 None denies it but the sinful transgressors. 12 who, when Our verses are recited to him, says: “Mere tales of olden times!” 13 By no means! but on their hearts is the stain of the (ill) which they do! 14 Indeed! On that Day a barrier will be set between them and their Lord, 15 and then they shall enter Hell, 16 They will then be told: "This is what you had denied." 17 No indeed! Verily, the deeds of the virtuous shall be in the record of the exalted ones. 18 And what will make thee know whatsoever the record in Illiyun is? 19 It is a comprehensively written Book (of records). 20 Which is witnessed by the close ones. 21 The virtuous will surely be in bliss, 22 reclining on couches, reviewing (the bounties given to them). 23 You will recognize in their faces the radiance of pleasure. 24 They will be given a drink of pure wine whereon the seal [of God] will have been set, 25 The last thereof (that wine) will be the smell of musk, and for this let (all) those strive who want to strive (i.e. hasten earnestly to the obedience of Allah). 26 and its mixture is Tasneem, 27 A spring whence those brought near (to Allah) drink. 28 Surely they who are guilty used to laugh at those who believe. 29 And whenever they passed by them, used to wink at each other (in mockery); 30 And whilst returning to their homes, they used to return rejoicing. 31 And when they saw them, they said: verily these are the strayed ones. 32 But they had not been sent as keepers over them! 33 Wherefore Today, those who believed at the infidels are laughing, 34 as they sit on couches, gazing around. 35 The infidels have indeed been rewarded for that which they had been doing. 36

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
