The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 And raiding at dawn 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
