The Unbelievers say: "What! when we become dust,- we and our fathers,- shall we really be raised (from the dead)? 67 Indeed, we were promised this - we and our forefathers - in the past as well; it is nothing but fables of ancient times!" 68 Say: "Go ye through the earth and see what has been the end of those guilty (of sin)." 69 And grieve thou not for them, nor be in distress because of what they plot (against thee). 70 And they say: When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if ye are truthful? 71 Say: Maybe there may have drawn near to you somewhat of that which you seek to hasten on. 72 Indeed your Lord is Most Munificent upon mankind, but most men do not give thanks. 73 And verily thine Lord knoweth whatsoever their breasts conceal and whatsoever they make known. 74 There is nothing of the hidden in the heavens and the earth that is not recorded in the luminous Book. 75 Surely this Qur'an explains to the Children of Israel most of the matters concerning which they have disagreements 76 And indeed, it is guidance and mercy for the believers. 77 Verily, your Lord will decide between them (various sects) by His Judgement. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing. 78 Wherefore put thy trust in Allah; verily thou art on manifest truth. 79 Surely you cannot make the dead hear you, nor can you make the deaf hear your call if they turn back in flight, 80 Nor canst thou lead the blind out of their error. Thou canst make none hear save these who believe in Our signs and who have submitted themselves. 81 ۞ Now, [as for the deaf and blind of heart -] when the word [of truth] stands revealed against them, We shall bring forth unto them out of the earth a creature, which will tell them that mankind had no real faith in Our messages. 82
