▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ No! I swear by the positions of the stars – 75 And lo! that verily is a tremendous oath, if ye but knew - 76 Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 which none but the pure [of heart] can touch: 79 (This Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 Do you make its denial your means of livelihood? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 if you are not subject to anyone's authority, 86 Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 (There is for him) Rest and Satisfaction, and a Garden of Delights. 89 And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand, 90 it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security. 91 And if he be of those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 And roasting in a Blaze. 94 Indeed, this is the true certainty, 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
