▼ 74 The Hidden Secret
Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
By no means! By the moon, 32 And the night when it withdraweth 33 and the morn when it dawns! 34 This is but one of the mighty (portents), 35 As a warning to humanity - 36 whether one steps forward to embrace the faith or one turns away from it. 37 Every soul is held in pledge against its own deeds, 38 save the Companions of the Right; 39 who shall be in the Gardens, and shall ask 40 Of evil-doers: 41 "What took you into the hell?" 42 They will say: "We were not of those who used to offer their Salat (prayers) 43 and we did not feed the poor; 44 We used to wade (in vain dispute) with (all) waders, 45 "And we used to belie the Day of Recompense 46 till the Certain came to us.' -- 47 So there will not benefit them the intercession of [any] intercessors. 48 If such will be the Day of Judgment, what is the matter with them? Why do they run away from guidance, 49 As though they were asses startled. 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, but everyone of them desireth that he should be given open pages (from Allah). 52 Never! In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 By no means! Verily this Qur'an is an admonition. 54 so whoever wills shall remember it. 55 But they will not remember except as God wills: He is worthy to be feared, and He is worthy of forgiving 56
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
