The Poets (Alshu'araa')

227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 Perchance thou consumest thyself that they are not believers. 3 If We will, We can send down on them a sign from the sky so that their leaders would remain bowed before it. 4 Never does there come to them an admonition from the Merciful Lord but they turn away from it. 5 So they have surely belied; wherefore anon there shall come unto them the truth of that whereat they were wont to mock. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how many We caused to grow in it every generous kind? 7 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 8 And indeed your Lord – indeed only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
