He whom we bring unto old age, We reverse him in creation (making him go back to weakness after strength). Have ye then no sense? 68 AND [thus it is:] We have not imparted to this [Prophet the gift of] poetry, nor would [poetry] have suited this [message]: it is but a reminder and a [divine] discourse, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth, 69 In order that it may warn him who is alive, and that the sentence may be justified on the infidels. 70 Have they not seen how that We have created for them of that Our hands wrought cattle that they own? 71 and that We have subjected them to men's will, so that some of them they may use for riding and of some they may eat, 72 And they have therefrom other benefits and drinks. Will they not then give thanks? 73 And they have taken beside Allah gods, hoping that haply they may be succoured. 74 They are not able to help them, and they [themselves] are for them soldiers in attendance. 75 Let not their words grieve you. We have knowledge of all that they conceal and all that they reveal. 76 Does not man see We created him from a drop of semen? Even then he becomes an open contender, 77 And he has struck for Us a similitude and forgotten his creation; he says, 'Who shall quicken the bones when they are decayed?' 78 Say, "He who brought them into being in the first instance will give them life again: He has knowledge of every type of creation: 79 He Who has made for you the fire (to burn) from the green tree, so that with it you kindle (fire). 80 Is He who created the heavens and earth not able to create others like these people? Of course He is! He is indeed the Supreme Creator, the All Knowing: 81 when He decrees a thing, He need only say, "Be!" and it is. 82 Therefore Purity is to Him in Whose Hand* is the control over all things and it is towards Him that you will be returned. (Used as a metaphor to mean Power). 83
