Hizb 46

Jonah too was one of the Envoys; 139 He fled to the overloaded ship. 140 And then they cast lots, and he was the one who lost; 141 So the fish swallowed him while he did that for which he blamed himself 142 Had he not glorified God, 143 He would have remained in its belly till the day when all will be raised. 144 ۞ We cast him out of the fish unto dry land and he was sick. 145 And We made a gourd tree grow over him. 146 And We sent him to a hundred thousand, rather they exceeded. 147 and they believed. So We let them enjoy life for a while. 148 Now ask them their opinion: Is it that thy Lord has (only) daughters, and they have sons?- 149 Or did We create the angels as females while they were witnesses?" 150 Pay heed! It is their slander that they say. 151 'Allah has begotten' They are truly liars. 152 Has He chosen daughters in preference to sons? 153 What is [wrong] with you? How do you make judgement? 154 Do you not understand? 155 Or have you, perchance, a clear evidence [for your assertions]? 156 Then produce your scriptures, if you are telling the truth. 157 And they have claimed between Him and the jinn a lineage, but the jinn have already known that they [who made such claims] will be brought to [punishment]. 158 limitless is God in His glory, above anything that men may devise by way of definition! 159 Not (so do) the Servants of Allah, sincere and devoted. 160 Wherefore verily neither ye nor that which ye worship, 161 Can tempt anyone to rebel against Him. 162 unless it be such as rushes towards the blazing fire [of his own accord]! 163 As for us, there is none but has an appointed station. 164 Lo! we, even we are they who set the ranks, 165 And we are they who exalt (Allah)' 166 And indeed they (Arab pagans) used to say; 167 "Had we received guidance from the people living before us, 168 We would have been the chosen creatures of God." 169 But (now that the Quran has come) they disbelieve therein (i.e. in the Quran and in Prophet Muhammad SAW, and all that which he brought, the Divine Revelation), so they will come to know! 170 Our Word had already preceded Our worshipers, the Messengers, 171 assuredly they shall be helped, 172 and Our host -- they are the victors. 173 So you ignore them for a time 174 And watch, for they will (soon) see. 175 Do they seek to hasten on Our Torment? 176 But when it descends into the open space before them, evil will be the morning for those who were warned (and heeded not)! 177 Stay away from them for a while 178 And (then) see, for they too shall see. 179 Glory be to your Lord: the Lord of Glory is far above what they attribute to Him. 180 And peace upon the messengers. 181 And all the praise and thanks be to Allah, Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 182
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
