Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 and grudgingly spends very little for the cause of God? 34 Has he the knowledge of the unseen so that he can see? 35 Or hath he not had news of what is in the books of Moses 36 And with Abraham who kept his word: 37 That no bearer of burden shall bear the burden of another- 38 And that man can have nothing but what he does (good or bad). 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 whereupon he shall be requited for it with the fullest requital; 41 And that to your Lord is the goal- 42 and that He it is Who causes people to laugh and to cry, 43 That it is He Who granteth Death and Life; 44 And that He created pairs, the male and the female 45 From a drop (of seed) when it is poured forth; 46 And that He hath ordained the second bringing forth; 47 And that He it is Who enriches and gives to hold; 48 and that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius, 49 and that He destroyed Ad, the ancient, 50 And Thamud, and did not leave them, 51 And also the people of Nuh aforetime. Verily they were even greater wrong-doers and more contumacious. 52 And the subverted cities He overthrew. 53 So that there covered them that which did cover. 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The Hour that was to come draws ever nearer. 57 There shall be none besides Allah to remove it. 58 Do you then find these tidings strange? 59 And keep laughing and do not weep, 60 while you make merry? 61 Rather prostrate yourselves before Allah and serve Him. ۩ 62
