The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
