Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

It is We Who have set out the zodiacal signs in the heavens, and made them fair-seeming to (all) beholders; 16 And We have guarded it from every outcast devil, 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and him there followeth a flame gleaming. 18 We have spread out the earth, and set upon it firm mountains and caused everything to grow in due proportion. 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the stores thereof. And we send it not down save in appointed measure. 21 We let loose fertilizing winds, and bring water from the sky for you to drink; and you could not have stored it up for yourselves. 22 And certainly We! We it is Who give life, and cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 And certainly We know those of you who have gone before and We certainly know those who shall come later. 24 and it is thy Lord shall muster them, and He is All-wise, All-knowing. 25
