۞ And We revealed unto Musa saying: go by night with My bondmen verily ye shall be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities musterers: 53 'Behold, these are a small troop, 54 who have enraged us greatly. 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and agreeable mansions. 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Musa said: by no means; verily with me is my Lord; He shall guide me. 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And We brought the others close to that place. 64 and We saved Moses and those who were with him together, 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
