Indeed We created man from sounding clay made out of black smelly mud. 26 and the jinn created We before of fire flaming. 27 And (remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "I am going to create a man (Adam) from sounding clay of altered black smooth mud. 28 So, when I have made him and have breathed into him of My Spirit, do ye fall down, prostrating yourselves unto him. 29 then the angels all prostrated themselves together. 30 Except Iblees, he refused to be with those who prostrated. 31 (Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What is your reason for not being among the prostrators?" 32 He replied: 'I will not prostrate to a mortal You have created of clay, from molded mud' 33 Said Allah, “Therefore exit from Paradise, for you are an outcast.” 34 and [My] rejection shall be thy due until the Day of Judgment!" 35 He said: my Lord! respite me then till the Day whereon they will be raised up. 36 He said, "You are granted respite 37 for an appointed time." 38 "O my Lord," he said, "since You have led me into error I'll beguile them with the pleasures of the world and lead them astray, 39 except Your sincere servants". 40 (Allah) said: "This is the Way which will lead straight to Me." 41 over My worshipers you have no authority, except the perverse that follow you. 42 and for all such, behold, hell is the promised goal. 43 Unto it are seven portals; unto each portal is a portion of them assigned. 44
