The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ (Allah) Most Gracious! 1 has taught the Koran. 2 He created man 3 He has imparted unto him articulate thought and speech. 4 The sun and the moon to a reckoning, 5 and the stars and the trees bow themselves; 6 He raised the heavens and set up the measure, 7 In order that you may not transgress (due) balance. 8 And keep up the balance with equity and do not make the measure deficient. 9 And the earth He laid [out] for the creatures. 10 Therein is fruit and palms having sheathed clusters, 11 and grains with their husk and fragrant plants. 12 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 13 He created the human being from clay like that used for pottery 14 and He created the jinn from smokeless fire. 15 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 16 Lord of the two Easts, Lord of the two Wests. 17 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 18 He hath let loose the two seas. 19 Between them is a barrier [so] neither of them transgresses. 20 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 21 Out of them come Pearls and Coral: 22 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 23 Also, His are the ships that run, raised up like mountains upon the sea. 24 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
