By no means! By the moon, 32 And the night when it departs, 33 By the morning when it brighteneth. 34 Verily, it (Hell, or their denial of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, or the Day of Resurrection) is but one of the greatest calamities. 35 Warn the men. 36 to everyone of you, whether he chooses to come forward or to hang back! 37 Every soul is held in pledge against its own deeds, 38 save the People of the Right Hand 39 In Gardens; they shall be asking, 40 of those who were lost in sin: 41 "What was it that brought you to Hell?" 42 They will answer: "We were not among those who prayed; 43 and we did not feed the poor, 44 We used to wade (in vain dispute) with (all) waders, 45 and we gave the lie to the Day of Judgement 46 Till death overtook us. 47 Then the intercession of the intercessors shall not profit them. 48 Then what is [the matter] with them that they are, from the reminder, turning away 49 as though they were frightened wild asses, 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay; every one of them desires that he may be given pages spread out; 52 This will certainly never be the case! In fact, they are not afraid of the Day of Judgment. 53 Nay, this surely is an admonition: 54 So whosoever willeth may heed it. 55 And what advice will they heed, except if Allah wills? Only He deserves to be feared, and His only is the greatness of forgiving. 56
