Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
