The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
When the earth is shaken by the shaking thereof, 1 And when the earth throws out its burdens, 2 and man will cry out: “What is the matter with her?” 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 and whoso has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
