"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 They will be told: "Enter it in peace and security." 46 And We shall purge their breasts of all traces of rancour; and they shall be seated on couches facing one another as brothers. 47 No fatigue will touch them therein, nor from it will they [ever] be removed. 48 ۞ Tell My worshipers that I am the Forgiving, the Most Merciful, 49 and that My punishment is the painful chastisement. 50 Tell them of Abraham's guests. 51 When the angels came to him and said, “Peace"; he said, “We feel afraid of you.” 52 They said: Be not afraid, surely we give you the good news of a boy, possessing knowledge. 53 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Do you give me glad tidings (of a son) when old age has overtaken me? Of what then is your news?" 54 They said, “We have given you true tidings, therefore do not lose hope.” 55 Abraham said: "Who despairs of the Mercy of his Lord except the misguided?" 56 And asked them: "What matter, O angels, brings you here?" 57 They said, 'We have been sent unto a people of sinners, 58 Except for Lot's household, all of whom we shall rescue, 59 Except his wife." Allah decreed that she is of those who remain behind. 60
