Say thou: who guardeth you by night and by day from the Compassionate? Yet from the remembrance of their Lord they avert themselves! 42 Have they gods who defend them beside Us? They are not able to succour themselves, and against Us they cannot be kept company with. 43 Yet We bestowed the good things [of life] upon their fathers for a great length of time. But do they not see how We are shrinking their borders? Is it they who will prevail? 44 Say: 'I warn you only by the Revelation' But the deaf hear nothing when they are warned. 45 But if just a breath of your Lord's punishment were to touch them, they would say: 'Woe for us, we were harmdoers' 46 And We shall set up balances of justice on the Day of Resurrection, then none will be dealt with unjustly in anything. And if there be the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it. And Sufficient are We as Reckoners. 47 We gave Moses and Aaron the criterion of right and wrong and a light and reminder for the righteous, 48 Who fear their Lord unseen, while they are of the Hour apprehensive. 49 This is a blessed reminder that We have revealed to you. Will you then reject it? 50
