O dear Prophet, did you not see your Lord, how He spread the shade? And if He willed, He could have made it still; then We made the sun a proof upon it. 45 and then, [after having caused it to lengthen,] We draw it in towards Ourselves with a gradual drawing-in. 46 And He it is who makes the night a garment for you, and [your] sleep a rest, and causes every [new] day to be a resurrection. 47 It is He who sends the winds with auspicious news in advance of His benevolence; and We send pure water down from the sky 48 That We may give life thereby to a dead land, and We give to drink thereof many of the cattle and men that We had created. 49 And verily We have repeated it among them that they may remember, but most of mankind begrudge aught save ingratitude. 50 Had it been Our Will, We could have sent a warner to every centre of population. 51 So, O Prophet, do not yield to the disbelievers, but wage a Jihad against them with this Qur'an. 52 ۞ It was He who let forth the two seas, this one is palatably sweet and this salt, a bitter taste, and He set a barrier between them, and a refuge which is forbidden. 53 It is He Who has created man from water: then has He established relationships of lineage and marriage: for thy Lord has power (over all things). 54 Yet they worship besides God that which can neither benefit them nor harm them. One who denies the truth is a helper [of evil] against his Lord. 55 We have sent you for no other reason but to be a bearer of glad news and warning. 56 Say: 'I demand of you no wage for this except for he who wishes to take the Path to his Lord' 57 Have trust in God the Living, who will never die, and sing His hallelujas; for He is well aware of the sins of His creatures. 58 Who created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in six Days. Then He Istawa (rose over) the Throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty). The Most Beneficent (Allah)! Ask Him (O Prophet Muhammad SAW), (concerning His Qualities, His rising over His Throne, His creations, etc.), as He is Al-Khabir (The All-Knower of everything i.e. Allah). 59 When they are told, "Prostrate yourselves before the Gracious One," they ask, "Who is this Gracious One? Shall we prostrate ourselves before whatever you will?" This increases their aversion. ۩ 60
