And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
