In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the aligners (angels) aligning. 1 and the scarers scaring 2 By the angels reciting the praise. 3 Verily your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all between them, and Lord of every point at the rising of the sun! 5 We have indeed adorned the lowest heaven with stars as ornaments. 6 and have protected it from every rebellious satan. 7 They cannot listen to the exalted assembly, and they are darted at from every side. 8 Outcast, and theirs is a perpetual torment; 9 Except him who snatches off but once, then there follows him a brightly shining flame. 10 So ask them (that is, human beings): “Were they harder to create than the objects We created?” We created them from sticky clay. 11 Yet while you are filled with wonder, they just scoff; 12 and, when reminded, do not remember 13 When they see a sign, they laugh at it, 14 And they say: this Qur'an is naught but magic manifest. 15 When we have become dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then verily be raised? 16 What, and our fathers, the ancients?' 17 Say: 'Yes, but worthless' 18 So it shall only be a single cry, when lo! they shall see. 19 And they will say: Ah! woe be unto us! this is the Day of Requital. 20 'This is the Day of Decision, even that you cried lies to. 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
