۞ Say: "O my Servants who have transgressed against their souls! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah: for Allah forgives all sins: for He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 53 "Turn ye to our Lord (in repentance) and bow to His (Will), before the Penalty comes on you: after that ye shall not be helped. 54 And follow the best of what was revealed to you from your Lord before the punishment comes upon you suddenly while you do not perceive, 55 Lest a soul should say, "Oh [how great is] my regret over what I neglected in regard to Allah and that I was among the mockers." 56 Or, "If only God had guided me, I would surely have joined the God-fearing." 57 or lest he should say, when he becomes aware of the suffering [that awaits him,] "Would that I had a second chance [in life,] so that I could be among the doers of good!" 58 Why, My revelations had come to you, but you denied them and were filled with pride, and were among the disbelievers. 59 And on the Day of Resurrection you will see those who lied against Allah (i.e. attributed to Him sons, partners, etc.) their faces will be black. Is there not in Hell an abode for the arrogant ones? 60 But God shall deliver those that were godfearing in their security; evil shall not visit them, neither shall they sorrow. 61 Allah is Creator of all things; and He only is the Controller of all things. 62 His are the keys [to the mysteries] of the heavens and the earth: and they who are bent on denying the truth of God's messages - it is they, they, who are the losers! 63
