The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it. 2 Does he think his wealth will abide for ever with him? 3 By no means! They will be thrown into hutamah. 4 And what shall make thee know that which the Crushing Fire is? 5 It is a fierce fire created by God 6 the Fire that shall rise to the hearts (of criminals). 7 Verily, it shall be closed in on them, 8 in extended columns. 9
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
