And among His signs is that He created you from dust, and therefore you are human beings spread in the earth. 20 And among His Signs is this, that He created for you wives from among yourselves, that you may find repose in them, and He has put between you affection and mercy. Verily, in that are indeed signs for a people who reflect. 21 And of His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the diversity of your tongues and colours. Indeed there are Signs in this for the wise. 22 Among His signs are your sleep, at night or in daytime, and your seeking His bounty. There truly are signs in this for people who hear. 23 And of His signs is [that] He shows you the lightning [causing] fear and aspiration, and He sends down rain from the sky by which He brings to life the earth after its lifelessness. Indeed in that are signs for a people who use reason. 24 And of His signs is that the heaven and earth stand firm at His command. And when He calls you once out of the earth, you shall come forth. 25 And to Him belongs whoever is in the heavens and earth. All are to Him devoutly obedient. 26 And He it is who creates [all life] in the first instance, and then brings it forth anew: and most easy is this for Him, since His is the essence of all that is most sublime in the heavens and on earth, and He alone is almighty, truly wise. 27
