And He is Omnipotent over His bondmen and sends guardians over you; to the extent that when death comes to one of you, Our angels remove his soul, and they do not err. 61 Then are they restored unto Allah, their Lord, the Just. Surely His is the judgment. And He is the most swift of reckoners. 62 Say, "Who is it who delivers you from the dark depths of land and sea when you call out to Him humbly and in secret, saying, "If He rescues us from this, we shall most certainly be among the grateful."?" 63 Say "It is Allah that delivereth you from these and all (other) distresses: and yet ye worship false gods!" 64 Say: "He has power to send torment on you from above or from under your feet, or to cover you with confusion in party strife, and make you to taste the violence of one another." See how variously We explain the Ayat (proofs, evidences, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), so that they may understand. 65 Your people have rejected the message We have sent through you, though it is the truth. Say "I am not your keeper. 66 and that for every prophecy (about you which comes from God) there is an appointed time (to come true) and that they will soon experience it. 67 When thou seest men engaged in vain discourse about Our signs, turn away from them unless they turn to a different theme. If Satan ever makes thee forget, then after recollection, sit not thou in the company of those who do wrong. 68 On their account no responsibility falls on the righteous, but (their duty) is to remind them, that they may (learn to) fear Allah. 69 And leave alone those who take their religion as play and amusement, and are deceived by the life of this world. But remind (them) with it (the Quran) lest a person be given up to destruction for that which he has earned, when he will find for himself no protector or intercessor besides Allah, and even if he offers every ransom, it will not be accepted from him. Such are they who are given up to destruction because of that which they have earned. For them will be a drink of boiling water and a painful torment because they used to disbelieve 70
