Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have made constellations in the sky and decorated them for the onlookers. 16 and We have guarded it from every accursed devil: 17 Except the ones who listen on the sly, yet they are chased away by a shooting flame. 18 And the earth - We have spread it and cast therein firmly set mountains and caused to grow therein [something] of every well-balanced thing. 19 And We have appointed thereon for you livelihoods and also for those of whom ye are not the providers. 20 For, no single thing exists that does not have its source with Us; and nought do We bestow from on high unless it be in accordance with a measure well-defined. 21 We send impregnating winds and send down water from the sky for you to drink and you have no (control over its) storage. 22 And indeed, it is We who give life and cause death, and We are the Inheritor. 23 And indeed We know those among you who came forward and indeed We know those among you who remained behind. 24 Your Lord will surely gather them together: Certainly He is all-wise and all-knowing. 25
