Hizb 46
< random >
And verily Yunus was of the sent ones. 139 When he ran away to a ship completely laden, 140 So he shared (with them), but was of those who are cast off. 141 Then a fish swallowed him, and he was blameworthy. 142 and had he not been among those who exalt (Allah), 143 He would have stayed in its belly till the day the dead are raised. 144 ۞ But We cast him forth on the naked shore in a state of sickness, 145 And We caused to grow over him a gourd vine. 146 And We sent him towards a hundred thousand people, in fact more. 147 So they accepted faith We therefore gave them usage for a while. 148 So ask their opinion: “(Are you convinced) that your Lord should have daughters and you should have sons? 149 Or created We the angels females while they were present? 150 Now surely it is of their own lie that they say: 151 That “Allah has offspring”; and indeed, surely, they are liars. 152 Has He (then) chosen daughters rather than sons? 153 What aileth you? How judge ye? 154 What, and will you not remember? 155 Or, is there for you a clear warranty 156 Bring your Book, if you speak truly! 157 And some people have invented a kinship between Him and all manner of invisible forces although [even] these invisible forces know well that, verily, they [who thus blaspheme against God] shall indeed be arraigned [before Him on Judgment Day: for] 158 Exalted is Allah above what they describe, 159 Not (so do) the Servants of Allah, sincere and devoted. 160 Wherefore verily neither ye nor that which ye worship, 161 you shall tempt none against Him 162 except for he who shall roast in Hell. 163 (Those ranged in ranks say): "Not one of us but has a place appointed; 164 We are surely those who are arranged in ranks. 165 And we are those who sing hallelujas to Him." 166 What, would they then say: 167 "If we had had with us a Book like that of the people of old, 168 We would have been the chosen servants of Allah." 169 But they disbelieved in it, so they are going to know. 170 Already Our Word has preceded to Our servants, the Envoys; 171 that it is certainly they who will be helped; 172 and that Our army will be triumphant. 173 So turn thou aside from them for a season. 174 and see them [for what they are]; and in time they [too] will come to see [what they do not see now]. 175 What! would they then hasten on Our chastisement? 176 When it descends on their courtyards, how terrible that morning will be for those who were warned! 177 So turn away from them for a while. 178 And watch, for they will (soon) see. 179 Too glorious is your Lord, the Lord of power, for what they ascribe to Him. 180 And peace upon the messengers. 181 And all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. 182
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
