[Allah said], "O messengers, eat from the good foods and work righteousness. Indeed, I, of what you do, am Knowing. 51 And verily! This your religion (of Islamic Monotheism) is one religion, and I am your Lord, so keep your duty to Me. 52 Then they cut their affair among them in regard to the Scriptures; each band in that which is with them rejoicing. 53 But leave them in their confused ignorance for a time. 54 Do they think that because We have granted them abundance of wealth and sons, 55 We are hastening them on to good things? Aye! they perceive not. 56 Surely they who from fear of their Lord are cautious, 57 And those who believe in the revelations of their Lord, 58 And they who do not associate anything with their Lord 59 And those who give whatsoever they give, while their hearts are anxious that unto their Lord they are to be returners. 60 Are the ones who hasten to goodness and outpace the others. 61 And [withal.] We do not burden any human being with more than he is well able to bear: for with Us is a record that speaks the truth [about what men do and can do]; and none shall be wronged. 62 But their hearts are covered with confusion over this, and they have [evil] deeds besides disbelief which they are doing, 63 To the extent that when We seized the wealthy among them with punishment, they immediately began imploring. 64 Implore not today; verily ye from Us are not to be succoured. 65 Time and again were My messages conveyed unto you, but [every time] you would turn about on your heels 66 being proud against it, talking foolishness by night. 67 Is it then that they do not ponder over what is said, or is it that there has come to them that which did not come to their fathers of old? 68 Or, is it because they do not recognize their Messenger that they denied him? 69 Or do they say that he is possessed? In fact, he has brought the truth to them, but most of them abhor the truth. 70 And if the truth had been in accordance with their desires, verily, the heavens and the earth, and whosoever is therein would have been corrupted! Nay, We have brought them their reminder, but they turn away from their reminder. 71 (Do they disbelieve because) you asked them for payment? The reward that you will receive from your Lord is the best. He is the best Provider. 72 and, most surely, you are calling them to a straight path. 73 But those who do not believe in the Hereafter have indeed deviated from that path. 74 ۞ Even if We showed them mercy and relieved them of their afflictions, they would still persist in their transgression, wandering blindly. 75 And indeed, We tested them through suffering, but they did not abase themselves before their Sustainer; and they will never humble themselves 76 Until, when We open for them the gate of extreme punishment, behold! they are aghast thereat. 77
