Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Ya Sin. 1 and the Quran, the Book of wisdom, 2 you (Prophet Muhammad) are truly among the Messengers sent 3 upon the straight path. 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful, 5 In order that you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 Assuredly the word hath been justified against most of them, wherefore they shall not believe. 7 Verily! We have put on their necks iron collars reaching to chins, so that their heads are forced up. 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up so that they cannot see. 9 And it is alike unto them, whether thou warnest them or warnest them not; they shall not believe. 10 You can warn only him who follows the Admonition and fears the Merciful Lord without seeing Him. Give such a one good tidings of forgiveness and a generous reward. 11 We will surely bring the dead to life and We record what they send ahead and the signs they will leave behind; and We have accounted all things in a clear Book. 12
