Have you seen him who turns his back, 33 And he gave a little, then refrained? 34 What! Has he knowledge of the Unseen so that he can see? 35 Hath he not been told of that which is in the writs of Musa. 36 And (of) Ibrahim who fulfilled (the commandments): 37 That no bearer of burden shall bear the burden of another- 38 and that nought shall be accounted unto man but what he is striving for; 39 and that (the result of) his striving shall soon be seen, 40 and will be fully recompensed for his deeds. 41 And that to your Lord is the finality 42 that it is He who brings laughter and tears; 43 and that it is He who makes to die, and that makes to live, 44 And that He creates the two mates - the male and female - 45 From a sperm-drop when it is emitted 46 And that upon Him (Allah) is another bringing forth (Resurrection); 47 and that it is He who gives wealth and riches, 48 It is He who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 and that it is He who destroyed the ancient [tribes of] Ad 50 And Thamud, and did not leave them, 51 and before them the nation of Noah, they exceeded in evil and were insolent. 52 And He overthrew the Cities of the Plain, 53 So that there covered them that which did cover. 54 Which then of thy Lord's benefits wilt thou doubt? 55 He who warns you is one of the warners of old. 56 The Hour that was to come draws ever nearer. 57 None beside Allah can disclose it. 58 Do you marvel then at this discourse (the Koran)? 59 And laugh and not weep, 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 But fall ye down in prostration to Allah, and adore (Him)! ۩ 62
