Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

I swear by all that you can see, 38 And that which ye see not. 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 and is not - however little you may [be prepared to] believe it - the word of a poet; 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember. 42 [it is] a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds. 43 And if the messenger were to invent any sayings in Our name, 44 We surely should have seized him by his right hand (or with power and might), 45 And then severed his life-vein. 46 And not one of you would have withheld us from punishing him. 47 And verily it is an admonition unto the God-fearing. 48 And indeed, We know that among you are deniers. 49 And lo! it is indeed an anguish for the disbelievers. 50 This is the Truth beyond any doubt. 51 (Muhammad), glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 52
