And man (the disbeliever) says: "When I am dead, shall I then be raised up alive?" 66 Will not man remember that We created him aforetime, when he was nothing? 67 By thy Lord, then, We shall surely gather them and the satans; thereafter We shall surely bring them round Hell, kneeling. 68 We shall then pick out from every group the one who was most arrogant towards the Most Gracious. 69 Then, surely it is We who are most knowing of those most worthy of burning therein. 70 There is not one of you but shall approach it. That is a fixed ordinance of thy Lord. 71 But We shall save those who guarded against evil, and We shall leave the wrong-doers therein, (humbled) to their knees. 72 When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, the Unbelievers say to those who believe, "Which of the two sides is best in point of position? Which makes the best show in council?" 73 How many generations of greater prosperity and splendor have We destroyed before them? 74 Say: As for him who is in error, the Beneficent will verily prolong his span of life until, when they behold that which they were promised, whether it be punishment (in the world), or the Hour (of doom), they will know who is worse in position and who is weaker as an army. 75 And Allah increases in guidance those who go aright; and ever-abiding good works are with your Lord best in recompense and best in yielding fruit. 76 And hast thou ever considered [the kind of man] who is bent on denying the truth of Our messages and says, "I will surely be given wealth and children"? 77 Has he obtained knowledge of the Unseen, or has he taken a covenant with the Most Compassionate Lord? 78 Never; We shall now record what he says and give him a prolonged punishment. 79 All that he speaks of will belong to Us, and he will come into Our presence all alone. 80 And they have chosen (other) gods beside Allah that they may be a power for them. 81 In fact, they can have no honor; their gods will renounce their worship of idols and will turn against them. 82
