Blessed is He who has established constellations in the sky and made therein a lamp and a shining moon. 61 And it is He who has made the night and the day in succession for whoever desires to remember or desires gratitude. 62 The (faithful) slaves of the Beneficent are they who walk upon the earth modestly, and when the foolish ones address them answer: Peace; 63 who pass the night prostrating and standing to their Lord. 64 who pray, "Lord, protect us from the torment of hell; it is a great loss. 65 Evil indeed it (Hell) is as an abode and as a place to dwell. 66 And [they are] those who, when they spend, do so not excessively or sparingly but are ever, between that, [justly] moderate 67 Those who invoke not, with Allah, any other god, nor slay such life as Allah has made sacred except for just cause, nor commit fornication; - and any that does this (not only) meets punishment. 68 and on the Day of Judgment their torment will be double. They will suffer forever in disgrace. 69 Save him who repenteth and believeth and doth righteous work; as for such, Allah will change their evil deeds to good deeds. Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful. 70 And whosoever repents and does righteous good deeds, then verily, he repents towards Allah with true repentance. 71 And [they are] those who do not testify to falsehood, and when they pass near ill speech, they pass by with dignity. 72 who, when reminded of the revelations of their Lord, do not try to ignore them as though deaf and blind. Rather, they try to understand and think about them. 73 And those who say: "Our Lord! Bestow on us from our wives and our offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and make us leaders for the Muttaqun" (pious - see V. 2:2 and the footnote of V. 3:164)." 74 Those shall be recompensed with the highest heaven, for that they endured patiently, and they shall receive therein a greeting and --' Peace!' 75 They shall abide in it forever; what an excellent abode and place of stay. 76 Say: My Lord would not care for you were it not for your prayer; but you have indeed rejected (the truth), so that which shall cleave shall come. 77
