The people of Nuh (Noah) belied the Messengers. 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 I am a trustworthy messenger for you: 107 So be fearful of God and listen to me. 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 So fear God and follow me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 “Indeed their account is only upon my Lord, if you perceive.” 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 I am only a plain warner. 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me.” 117 Therefore judge Thou between me and them with a (just) judgment, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 121 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 122
