Al-Naml 6 of 7
The unbelievers say: 'When we and our fathers are turned to dust, shall we be brought forth? 67 It was promised to us and to our fathers before us. It is only ancient legends." 68 Say, "Roam across the earth and observe what was the end of the sinful ones." 69 Do not grieve over them, and do not be distressed by what they contrive. 70 Yet they say: "When will this promise come to pass? (Tell Us) if you speak the truth." 71 Say, “It could be that a part of what you are impatient for is (already) after you.” 72 Surely thy Lord is bountiful to men; but most of them are not thankful. 73 And verily thine Lord knoweth whatsoever their breasts conceal and whatsoever they make known. 74 Nor is there aught of the unseen, in heaven or earth, but is (recorded) in a clear record. 75 Verily, this Quran narrates to the Children of Israel most of that about which they differ. 76 And indeed it is a guidance and a mercy for the Muslims. 77 Indeed your Lord judges between them with His command; and He is the Almighty, the All Knowing. 78 So put your trust in Allah; surely, you (O Muhammad SAW) are on manifest truth. 79 Truly thou canst not cause the dead to listen, nor canst thou cause the deaf to hear the call, (especially) when they turn back in retreat. 80 Nor do you guide the blind out of their error, nor do you make any to hear, except those who believe in Our verses and are Muslims. 81 ۞ When the word about them comes true We shall make a creature appear to them on earth who will tell them that people had no faith in Our revelations. 82

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
