۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 And verily, that is indeed a great oath, if you but know. 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 In a Book Hidden. 78 which none shall touch except the purified; 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 Do you then hold this announcement in contempt? 81 And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]? 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 and you are watching at that time 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, 86 Cause ye it not to return, if ye say sooth? 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 For him shall be comfort, and fragrance and a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand, 90 Then (the greeting) "Peace be unto thee" from those on the right hand. 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 and the heat of a blazing fire! 94 Lo! this is certain truth. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96
