The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 And man saith: What aileth her? 3 On that Day she will tell out the tidings thereof. 4 for your Lord will have commanded her (to do so). 5 That day mankind will issue forth in scattered groups to be shown their deeds. 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
