The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
