The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour? 2 What shall Make thee know that which the Striking is? 3 The day when men will be like scattered moths. 4 and the mountains shall be like plucked wool-tufts. 5 Those whose good deeds will weigh heavier (on the scale) 6 He will live a pleasant life. 7 but he whose deeds weigh light in the Balance 8 shall be engulfed by an abyss. 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 A burning fire. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
