Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
YA SIN. 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom (i.e. full of laws, evidences, and proofs), 2 Most surely you are one of the apostles 3 on a straight path; 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are unaware. 6 Already the word has come into effect upon most of them, so they do not believe. 7 We have bound their necks with fetters up to their chin, so that their heads are raised and cannot be lowered. 8 And We have placed before them a barrier and behind them a barrier, so We have covered them, so that they see not. 9 It is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them for they shall not believe. 10 You should only warn those who follow the Quran and have fear of the Beneficent God without seeing Him. Give them the glad news of their receiving forgiveness and an honorable reward (from God). 11 Surely We give life to the dead, and We write down what they have sent before and their footprints, and We have recorded everything in a clear writing. 12
