The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 How awesome the sudden calamity! 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 [It will occur] on the Day when men will be like moths swarming in confusion, 4 The mountains like the tufts of carded wool. 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 He will be in a pleasant life. 7 But he whose deeds are lighter in the balance 8 His abode shall be the abyss. 9 And what can make you know what that is? 10 A Blazing Fire! 11
