Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 Raised it high, proportioned it, 28 Gave darkness to its night, and brightness to its day; 29 and the earth which He spread out, 30 after that bringing forth from it its water and its pasture land, 31 And solidified the mountains. 32 All this was done as a means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 33 But when the great disaster cometh, 34 on the Day that man remembers what he strove for 35 and the blazing fire [of hell] will be laid open before all who [are destined to] see it. 36 Then, as for him who rebelled 37 and preferred the worldly life, 38 will find himself in Hell; 39 But as for him who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from lust, 40 Verily, Paradise will be his abode. 41 They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival? 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 Unto thy Lord is the final end of it. 44 You (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) are only a warner for those who fear it, 45 The day they see it, it will seem they had stayed in the world but only an evening or its turning into dawn. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
